SpeediShuttle

We are making an attempt to help coordinate those who want to share a shuttle. Below is a list of itineraries that we know about. Sue DeMeritt has kindly agreed to make reservations for groups of two of more people, provided you submit your request at least 72 hour in advance. Our preference would be to have you submit your request by Monday July 14, 2003. Reservations have to be made 48 hours in advance.

Notes from SpeediShuttle:

RESERVATIONS are recommended and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. You can make reservations at
http://www.speedishuttle.com.

UPON YOUR ARRIVAL

Upon arrival  look for the greeters with Marriott Waikoloa Beach Resort signs 
(the signs may just say Marriott).  They will have all of your information and 
will get you on the shuttle.  If for some reason there is no greeter, just go to 
the baggage clain and call SpeediShuttle on the courtesy phone (#65) and tell 
them you are part of the TeX Users Group and you need a ride.

SpeediShuttle is giving us a discount rate of $15 per person one way.  You 
will pay the $15 when you arrive in Hawaii*. All fares include taxes but not 
gratuity. SpeediShuttle accepts cash, credit cards or travelers checks as 
payment. 


*Note: It turned out that the round trip prices originally posted we good as 
long as the whole group returned together.  Since that most likely will not be 
the case, we feel that it would be a better deal for everyone to take the $15 
per person each way.  I am sorry if this has caused any inconvenience to anyone.


At the registration table Sunday evening,  I will have a sheet of paper where 
you can sign up for your return trip to the airport.  Going anywhere else 
besides any of the other islands, it is recommended that passengers be picked up 
2 1/2 hours before your flight.  If you are going to any of the other islands, 
then 2 hours ahead of time is recommended.
