I am really interested in developing this code esp. DVIWindo,

That would be great.

Have you tried to compile it yourself?

Nope.

The files which are absent are called "atm.h" and "atmpriv.h". Any
    chance I could get them?

Well, I found those files in my (unposted) raw archives. However, there
is a problem: they came from Adobe, and they say "all rights reserved".

I am guessing that they started life as sample files that Adobe *wants*
people to freely use and modify, and the "all rights reserved" was
unthinkingly put in many years ago, but I don't know for sure. Can you
poke around on the net and Adobe's site and see if they are publicly
somewhere, somehow?

There's no question that whatever modifications done by Y&Y are legally
all right. The only problem is with the original Adobe definitions
(which amount to, from the looks of things, the bulk if not the entirety
of those files.)

Thanks,
Karl
