[yandytex] Using YandY

    I would like to know the price and the rights to use it and distribute it

The proprietary Y&Y TeX system is not available now and never (99.9%
probability) will be again, in its previously-released form.

As I briefly wrote on http://tug.org/yandy/, and at more length on this
list, perhaps one day there will be a free TeX distribution based on the
Y&Y code, or the Y&Y code will be incorporated into other distributions.
Exactly what happens will be up to the community.

My current effort is to go through the Y&Y archives and excise the
proprietary/private pieces; the remainder (the bulk of it) will be made
publicly available under some free software license.  It will take quite
some time (months, at least) before this is complete.

As always, major thanks to Blenda for donating the Y&Y materials to TUG,
on behalf of the scientific community, in the first place.
