DVI previewer gone haywire (fwd)

Hi Sue,

What system are you running on? If it's Windows XP, you could do a system restore.

I doubt LastError=No font files is meaningful. For one, you get the error when you process a page that doesn't exist. Does LastErrorTime= coincide with the time of the incident?

If you want to check the status of the fonts, you could go to the command prompt and type

dir *.pf*

You will then get both *.pfb and *.pfm files. When you select the fonts folder in Windows it usally gives you just one of the font file types.

If you decide to try re-installing you can cutomize the uninstall process. See if it help you select just components. My concern would be to avoid you needing to update LaTeX to its current release unless you are still working with the release that came with Y&Y's installation CD.

Frank
