it would be fine for those of us that understand the tds. the majority
of the population still seem to stumble along without much understanding
of any of the issues; so the only gain would be to point the user at a
different set of documentation. which the user would likely not read
any more than [s]he had read any of the detailed stuff relating to y&y.
one has to admit, also, that the tds is pretty far removed from the
world view of berthold horn (he used to speak out against it, in
comp.text.tex, in the old days); i suspect that rearranging the
executables to cope with a tds structure would be a major undertaking.
