I've just gone through the log file and while the items I've noted may
not be pertinent to the problem, you may want to address them at some

Does anyone know what effect not having the `Local configureation
file' can have?

I notice that below, shortvb is input again. Duplication probably
isn't a problem, but why do it? ;-))

psfrag.sty is of an earlier vintage than your graphics.sty, which it's
inputting. Only by a month ... but have you considered checking for
the latest versions of both?

graphics.sty inputs trig.sty, graphics.cfg, and dvipsone.def.

And now graphicx.sty is being input ... I wonder why both are needed?
I thought graphicx.sty was like graphics.sty but enhanced, so you only
needed to input the *cx version ... is inputting both ok?

I don't know -- maybe someone else does ...
