I've found the old notes! Look in the latter half of June 2003
archived e-mail. The excruciating step-by-step by-play is all there
... so I won't go through it again. However, I do have to say that,
from what I've read of the old mail, I didn't find a solution -- but
it was a problem which, at the time, seemed limited to me.

In any event, go read through the old mail and see what strikes a
chord with you.
