Error message: missing fonts

I just installed a copy of YandYTeX on my windows xp machine. I tried to
open an old dvi files, but I keep getting error message about many missing
fonts, a typical error message looks like this:

"Can't find Font:
cmbx12 (0)
No Face Name
(Windows offers: 'MS sans Serif')
at byte 217"

I did install all the fonts as described in the manual before installing
the system itself. Any help
