LaTex 2.09 support in release 2.2

i suspect pageframe itself _won't_ work.  what i tried to imply was
that there is a substitute for its crop-mark functionality.
(actually, there are several such; the one i've found easiest to
understand is crop.sty).

i don't know (off-hand) of any package that will perform its
page-framing function, so you may be stuck with old latex if that's
what you're doing.
