Hallo!

I'd like to find out if Y&Y would help me with some special needs that
we have.

It could be very nice from you if you could answer me some of following
questions. Thank you very much in advance and kind regards.

-Does it implement its own TeX engine or uses one from the free distribution?

If yes:

Do you have support to it?

Does Y&Y have dynamic memory allocation? (i.e. the TeX-memory limits
regarding strings, pattern, registers, etc are deleted).

Exists the possibility of buying it without buing the editor, printers
    and viewers?

-Do you implement or support Omega?

If yes:

Did you it implement your own Omega program or do you use the free
distribution? Do you solve the customer clients relating to it?

If not:

is your system able to read UNICODE input in any other way?

Is it able to manage UNICODE fonts?

Do you provide a way to write right to left texts (like arabic or
    hebraisch)?

Is your system able to swicht between fonts depeding on characters readed
from the input? (Omega makes it with the OCPs)

-About the loeadind of hyphenation-pattern files,

does Y&Y allow it at run-time (separat from the format file)?

do you have corrected the limits regarding that?

do you allow to make a list of hyphenation exceptions for each language?

-Regarding fonts:

Is your system able to use PostScript fonts? does it convert to TeX fonts
    or use as they are?

    Idem for TrueType

    Idem for MultipleMaster fonts

Do you handle ligatures for special (UNICODE) characters?
