In response (apologies for the delay) to your query regarding a bar
chart in BMP format that won't work ...

In the smaller manual for v.2.2, on pp.31-32, section 3.6.1 is
entitled `Including TIFF, BMP and WMF Images'. The details on how to
include them are right there.

Note that BMP wasn't in the v.2.1 shorter manual so it now has been
included.

Please let us know if this gets you unstuck.
