Yes, you asked that earlier, and I'd thought about it, but wasn't yet
entirely sure that I've got a fail-safe method (for instance I am still
getting error messages from some AMS fonts that don't show up on screen, but
print OK), so was waiting till I next tried to add a font to test it out
again.

Added to which, I hope to move house in 2 weeks -- so if Irene finds it
works and wants to draft something, I'll have a look at it "sometime".
