O-kaaay ... I've looked at your .ini file (which is indeed for the new
version), and I didn't see anything pop out at me either ...

... so back to your original query ...

First, can you preview your test file? Any error or warning messages
pop up?

Oh, could you open up DVIWindo, pull down the `Special' menu, and
activate `Pause WinExe Calls'? That will stop any info windows from
closing automatically, including the screen version of the log file as
it rolls/zips by.

So check that the screen report of the .log file hasn't got any
`interesting' messages for you. And you should probably also look at
the extended version in the actual .log file for any clues about
things that aren't what you're used to seeing.

If all is ok ... then it's not a TeXing problem but a problem getting
the file to the printer. I think ;-)

Check your printer setup (via the `File' menu at left in
DVIWindo). Anything need to be changed there, now that you're using
XP?

Does the Print dialog box have the box `Use DVIPSONE' checked off? The
top right box `Properties' actually seems to access the same dialog
box as `Printer setup', I see ...

Hope so! I'm flailing pretty hard here ;-)

Does any of this help? If not, I think I'd best bow out and let
someone more experienced pipe up.

Ch.

P.S. One more kick at the can -- have you looked in the dvipsone
folder for any help (.txt) files? There is quite a bit of
printer-specific documentation around ... oh ... what printer are
you using? Perhaps someone else on techsupport with
XP + same-printer-as-you may have some ideas ...
