FontReserve instead of ATM

Does anyone have experience using Extensis Font Reserve instead of Adobe
Type Manager with Y&Y TeX? Is it compatible?

I've been using Adobe Type Manager Deluxe version 4.1 in order to manage
fonts used by Y&Y TeX (among other programs). But ATM Deluxe cannot
seem to handle some fonts with very long names (such as some that come
with Mathematica, and even one from Y&Y which, as I recall, was fixed by
Y&Y's changing the internal name of that font so it could be handled by
ATM).

Another reason I'm looking at Font Reserve is that is has some features
that ATM doesn't. One is temporarily activating font sets only until a
reboot. Another is a capability to activate fonts automatically for a
given application. (This is application-dependent and requires that the
application provider incorproate the "font sense" technology into the
application.)
