a problem with xypic: speeding-up commands






Dear Kris,

I am writing notes for a course on derived categories. There are many 
xymatrix diagrams in it, and the compilation is now very slow.

I tried to insert the various speeding-up instructions (like 
\CompileMatrices) in the preamble, just below the
   \usepackage[all]{xy}
line, but got no improvement in speed. I did get *.xyc files generated 
(54 of them!).

The commands \OnlyOutlines and \ShowOutlines had no noticeable effect.

Choosing the pdf option had no noticeable effect either.

The source latex file (without the speeding-up attempts) and the pdf
