[XeTeX] Getting Xetex to create a pdf of text in Amharic

Hello everyone,
I am working on a two-sided wedding invitation (for my wedding) where one
side is in English and the other side is in Amharic. I have the latex code
written for the English side and I am now working on the Amharic side. I
found an example tex file (attached) which I am not able to get to compile
correctly. My hope is that if I can get this example to compile and produce
a pdf correctly, I will be able to work from this example to create the
backside of the invitation.

I am using Miktex 2.9 and Texworks editor. I have tried changing the
typeset (through Texworks) to Xetex and XeLatex and I can't get it to
compile. I've tried looking up information about creating pdfs in Amharic
and this and other example tex files are as close as I've come but I can't
get any of them to compile correctly. I would greatly appreciate it if
someone out there can get this tex file to compile correctly and let me
know how you do it. Here is the error I get:
