[XeTeX] Polyglossia, babel and xelatex

Look in gloss-french.ldf and compare it with frenchb.ldf: 

The polyglossia file has 120 lines, changes the spaces after
punctuation and defines some names (\chaptername=chapitre etc). 

frenchb.ldf contains over 1000 lines of codes and also change a lot
of typographical details (like lists).
