[XeTeX] fancyhdr and plyglossia

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,


Is it possible or impossible to use polyglossia with fancyhdr? I have  
created a document with contains  german  and Arabic invironments and  
the use of fancyhdr with \pagestyle{fancy} and the definition of the  
headers in the document does not change the pagestyle at all, it still  
displays the pagestyle plain.

Has anybody an idea if there is a solution to this problem?
