[XeTeX] Arabic fonts and ligatures after migrating machine

Dear Manuel Pico,

Possibly you could try to install the font Scheherazade-AAT with font
book, so that it will appear in the list of fonts, that are is extant
in the different applications. Or may be that it works, if you delete
the option Script=Arabic from the \newfontfamily\arabicfont command,
if you choose to use Scheherazade-AAT, Al Bayan, Geeza Pro or Times
New Roman. Then the Arabic characters should be connected with each
other correctly.
You could also install Scheherazade (without AAT) with font book, and
then include the option Script=Arabic in the \newfontfamily\arabicfont
command as you did.

With best regards,
Jens Bakker
