[XeTeX] arabxetex font not found

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to get an advice with the following problem, please: I  
wanted to try arabxetex with texlive 2008 on Mac OS X an I had  
installed the font Scheherazade in the system - and it appears in  
other applications -, but the following input file does not work and I  
get the information that the font is not found:

\usepackage{arabxetex}
\newfontfamily\arabicfont[Script=Arabic]{Scheherazade}
