[XeTeX] Letterspace problem

Hi!
When defining the default monospaced font, the LetterSpace font feature does
not produce any results.

\setmonofont[LetterSpace=10.0,Scale=MatchLowercase]{Bitstream Vera Sans
> Mono}
>

But when defining any other fontface, it does. E.g.,

\newfontface\myurl[LetterSpace=10.0,Scale=MatchLowercase]{Bitstream Vera
> Sans Mono}
>

Any ideas on what's happening?
