[XeTeX] An easy way to update Xe(La)TeX

This is what I have tried to update XeTeX on my linux machine.

1- open a terminal and write

sudo rsync -av rsync://
contextgarden.net/minimals/current/bin/xetex/linux/bin/xetex
/usr/local/texlive/2008/bin/i386-linux/


Note: replace i386-linux with x86_64 if you are using 64 bit linux.

2- generate the required formats by typing:

sudo fmtutil --byfmt xelatex
