<div dir="ltr">This is what I have tried to update XeTeX on my linux machine. <br><br>1- open a terminal and write<br><br>sudo rsync -av rsync://<a href="http://contextgarden.net/minimals/current/bin/xetex/linux/bin/xetex">contextgarden.net/minimals/current/bin/xetex/linux/bin/xetex</a> /usr/local/texlive/2008/bin/i386-linux/<br>
<br><br>Note: replace i386-linux with x86_64 if you are using 64 bit linux.<br><br>2- generate the required formats by typing:<br><br><pre class="filelisting">sudo fmtutil --byfmt xelatex<br><br><br><br></pre>Thanks to ConTeXt minimal team for providing the binary.<br clear="all">
