[XeTeX] No includegraphics?

Oh-oh.

Well, I've downloaded a new Tex-Live distribution, moved the texmf  
folder to the Trash, so now I get, with listfiles and the same preamble:

Don't shoot me, officer, I just don't know what I'm doing here. Tex  
has a way of putting files in places I never knew existed --- I'm  
still a System 6 guy, at heart...

I wish I could start with a clean slate. A 1999 graphics.sty? Where  
does this even come from?
