[XeTeX] Some accent problems

Well, that I call response :))

You can change all elements in the example (book instead of scrbook, 12pt, without xltxtra and xunicode packages or just remove their optional arguments, change font .ttf, .pfb, .otf etc.) the problem still exists. E.g.:

\documentclass{book}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\setmainfont{Adobe Garamond Pro}
\begin{document}
Uj\=unul-eser
\end{document}

Can you make this case simpler? Do you need xltxtra and its option?
Do you need xunicode? What is the sense of the cm-default for
fontspec when you're using URW Palladio L? Why do you use the 10pt
option? This is the default text size, so you don't need to use it.
Is the font used the only one that produces the failure? Do other
defaultfontfeatures produce the same? What happens with a different
class, for example the LaTeX base class book? Did you report the case
to Markus Kohm, i.e., the author of scrbook and some other classes?
