[XeTeX] XeLaTeX & french babel

Well, that didn't help.
Like I said, it's not a problem for me, but it does concern me that  
this springs an error message:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[francais]{babel}
\begin{document}
test
\end{document}

The only thing that's different between the XeLaTeX and LaTeX  
compilations is polyglossia. I don't know for sure if that's causing  
this error or what the expected behaviour should be, but seems like a  
bit of a heads up, I think…
