Sure. It's only that when I once wanted to make a "package" out of it
(a zip which could be extracted into texmf directly), I have noticed
that the CVS version is not exactly TDS-compliant (not far from that,
but still some reshuffling had to be done, so I preferred to take TikZ
out of TeXLive svn instead).

(But that's already too off-topic for the XeTeX mailing list.)
