This seems to be a more general problem, not restricted to non-Latin  
scripts, according to at least one thread in the Mac OS X TeX list  
(Mac-TeX Website: http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/). Have you tried to  
log off and in again? Which version of Adobe Reader are you using?  
The latest, version 8? There was an update some days ago ... Do you  
know of or do you have software or the ability to clear these font  
caches?

In case you are going log off: can you disable Equation Service? Or,  
in case they're start-up items, can you remove LaTeX Equation Editor  
or TeXniscope from this list of items?

Somehow there seems some pollution of font caches to happen and it  
seems appropriate to prevent this by not using and not even launching  
"inadequate" software.


Is it really so complicated to start a new thread instead of usurping  
one? This eMail's subject has no connection to the body ...
