[XeTeX] xetex statically link to freetype2

Hi there,

according to http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/FeatureTexLive one
of the issues when packaging for the RPM system is that XeTeX links
statically to FreeType2 and this causes compilation error.

Is there a simple way to avoid this?
