[XeTeX] trouble compiling from svn

Thanks for the confirmation; it also built fine for me, with both  
gcc3.3 and gcc4 toolchains. So it seems there may be something about  
Will's setup that is confusing it. (I've suggested he capture the  
console output and send to me if he can't track down the problem.)
