[XeTeX] How to make hyphenation work in XeLaTeX?

In case someone is interested I have created a package to correctly
print headins, captions, etc., in Greek. The package is calld xgreek
and is not really compatible with babel. After all, babel contains some
really useless commands (\textlatin. \textgreek, \textcyrillic, etc.) which
do not make sense in a Unicode world.

choice are concerned. The Greek text for headings, captions, etc.,
won't be right, as the Babel file greek.ldf is non-Unicode.)
