I think you may need to alter the preamble to include the graphicx  
package:
e.g., change the line
\usepackage{enumitem,fancyvrb,geometry}
to
\usepackage{enumitem,fancyvrb,geometry,graphicx}

Even without graphicx the document should probably compile OK (except  
for the reflected E in XeTeX) if you just keep hitting the return key.
