I can confirm that Microsoft is preparing a release of the specification 
of the OpenType MATH table and the OpenType layout features specific for 
mathematics. It is also likely that Microsoft will publish a tool to 
define/create these tables. At the TypeTech forum during the ATypI 
Lisbon conference in September, Microsoft will for the first time 
present the specification for these tables.
