[UK-TUG] Procedural matters

The SGM debate has become too onerous to follow in full. I am content to appoint the chairman of the SGM to vote on my behalf.
I would like to see UKTUG continue, albeit as a rump. I would like to see the unused reserves of UKTUG effectively employed for the (broad) benefit of those who use LaTeX in the UK.
I do not have the time or patience to follow or debate the minutiae of the numerous posts that there have been. Subject to my proxy in favour of the chairman, I would like a continuing, UK based and focussed contribution to the global TeX community. I leave it to the Chairman’s integrity to decide how he should cast my vote on my behalf.

Regards,
Ewan Hawthorn.
