[UK-TUG] Joint statement from candidates for chair

A joint statement agreed by Jonathan Fine and Jay Hammond, candidates 
for the role of Chair of UK-TUG:

The two candidates for Chair of the UK TeX Users Group are Jay Hammond 
and Jonathan Fine. This morning they had a confidential phone call to 
discuss matters related to their candidacy.  They talked about the 
conduct of the election campaign, and the announcement of election 
results. They found common ground in desiring an orderly AGM, and 
election process.  They both expressed the desire to assist you with 
that. The conversation lasted 56 minutes. They agreed to continue this 
confidential discussion and hope to provide practical agreed suggestions 
shortly.
