[UK-TUG] Election of Chair for 2019-21

Dear Member,

Two valid nominations for the role of Chair of UK-TUG were received by
me, Joseph Wright, Secretary of UK-TUG, the deadline of 23:59 on 1st 
November. There will therefore be a ballot of all members to select the 
new Chair for the period from the end of the 2019 AGM for a term of two 
years.

The two nominees for the election are

- Jonathan Fine
- Jay Hammond

Each nominee has the opportunity to provide a supporting statement for 
their election; these will be circulated separately.

Voting will take place electronically. Votes should be submitted by 
email to the Secretary, joseph.wright at morningstar2.co.uk, by 23:59 GMT 
on Friday 15th November. To be valid, a vote should come from the email 
address registered with UK-TUG for membership, and should indicate a 
single nominee's name.

The result of the election will be announced at the 2019 AGM, which 
commences at 14:00 of Saturday 16th November at Trinity College, Oxford. 
For the avoidance of doubt, voting for the role of Chair is *not* 
possible at the AGM itself.
