[Tugindia] error with minmal workin example using xetexxelatex

Aniruddha,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Now, xetex is a plain TeX compiler. Your MWE is a Latex code.
Use XeLatex. It should compile properly.

TeX is the original package developed by Prof. Knuth and Latex OR
ConTeXt are various libraries developed on top of the original TeX. Go
to wikibooks for further information.
