[Tugindia] Changing font size of footnote label

Hi everyone,

I'm preparing a presentation in Beamer, and I need to add footnotes
(mainly references to the journals I used in making the presentation).
I managed to reduce the font size of the footnotes by doing the
following:

\def\Tiny{\fontsize{5pt}{5pt}\selectfont}
\makeatletter
\patchcmd{\@makefntext}{\insertfootnotetext{#1}}{\insertfootnotetext{\Tiny#1}}{}{}
\makeatother

While this worked with the text in the footnotes, the footnote labels
(the numbers) remain unaffected. Please help me reduce the size of
these labels too.
