Hi, Everyone,
I have just noticed that there is a difference between the hard copies of
DVI, PDF and PS files. The printed DVI is cool. The printed PDF in OK but
the font is smaller. The printed PS is shifted "upward" on the sheet.
Can someone tell me why this is so?
Thanks.

http://www.tug.org/pracjourn/2006-3/wilson/wilson.pdf
is a short introduction, but you should read the excellent manual for
the class, available at
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/memoir/memman.pdf
(both of which were easily found via Google).

Most likely your PDF reader is scaling the output. There is usually a
page scaling option in the print dialog. Make sure you have "None"
selected.

How are you sending the PS to the printer?
