Try doing a direct pdfLaTeX run... Alternatively create a bounding box
(.bb) file for each graphics and then try the dvi-ps-pdf route:
A smaple.bb file
%%Title: g1Pbw.png
%%Creator: Rohit Vishal Kumar
%%BoundingBox: 0 0 926 1056
%%CreationDate: 12-12-2005

The .bb file should have the same name as the image file that you are
inserting... alternatively specify the bb parameter...
\includegraphics[bb=0 0 926 1056]{filename.jpg}
