[Tugindia] Generation of two indexes

Thanks for this suggestion. I find that multind has not been updated
after early nineties. The index.sty (of the camel package) that I had in
my system was also of mid nineties vintage. The problem in using the old
versions is that these may not have the new features that the new packages
have.
I found a 2004 update of the index package at the CTAN site. As an added
bonus, it comes with an example file as well. So instead of
\usepackage{makeidx}, I now use \usepackage{index}. I have been able to
generate the second index also easily.
The only problem is that I am not able to assign a title that I wish to
the second index. The command, as given in the document of the index
package, does not seem work. If anyone knows about this difficulty and a
solution, I will appreciate it. Thanks.
