Is there anyway, rtf can be generated from tex.

Yes, you can use latex2rtf. I am not sure about 
the quality of conversion.  Anyway, the documentation
says that the aim is not to produce something edited,
but rather something to print. If you want anything better,
there is a commercial latex2word converter and you always
produce rtf using word. Take a look at the following link.
