Both tex4ht and latex2html can be used to produce a single HTML file
except for images that may be required for mathematics that cannot
be render in any dialect of hypertext.

One advantage of "tex4ht" is that it works with TeX not just LaTeX.

Another is that you can integrate it with HTML validation.
