[Tugindia] fontbase.mp

Hi,

I have been trying to compile a small latex file with dev package.
The latex compilation is succesful but dvips complains saying it cant
find file fontbase.mp , I used package dev and have files Udn.fd,
dvng10.mf,dvng10.tfm and dev.sty in the same directory as the tex file.
I searched the teTex directory but couldnt find the file fontbase.mp
and am using Latex 2e. If anyone could tell me where I am going wrong
it would be very helpful.
