Hi,
      In two column format, one of the equations overflows outside the
column. Is there some way I can force latex to fit it in one column? The
code for the equation is given below -

\begin{eqnarray*}
  \frac{(\gamma_{1}-1)^{2}}{2} N & = & \ \frac{1}{5} \mathscr{V} \ \ \
\Rightarrow \ \gamma_{1} = 3.2,\ \ \ \ \ \frac{(\gamma_{2}-1)^{2}}{2} N = \
\frac{2}{5} \mathscr{V} \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \gamma_{2} = 4.1 \\[1mm]
  \frac{(\gamma_{3}-1)^{2}}{2} N & = & \ \frac{3}{5} \mathscr{V} \ \ \
\Rightarrow \ \gamma_{3} = 4.8,\ \ \ \ \ \frac{(\gamma_{4}-1)^{2}}{2} N = \
\frac{4}{5} \mathscr{V} \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \gamma_{4} = 5.4 \\[2mm]
\end{eqnarray*}

Any pointers????

Thanks,
Arun
