[Tugindia] pdfLaTeX....where to get??

in last reply by H.S. Rai....i was told to get pdfLaTeX....is it readily 
available under Linux(RedHad 8.0 im currently using)......else where can i 
get it.......

also i'd like to know if there is any advantage for a software engineer in 
getting a job if he knows LaTeX..
