[Tugindia] increasing no of lines per page

Q1:
is there any way of increasing the number of lines per page....
last time i took a printout (in A4) size from the pdf file produced, only 
3/4 of the page was filled, with a large amount of blank space at the 
bottom.
how can i reduce it??

Q2:
is there a way of creating identical headers in all pages in the document??
also how can i create and exceptional header, i.e. a header specific to a 
single page and differing from the usual headers of all other pages??
