[Tugindia] thicker table borders

Hello,

If I have table like the one below

 |    |     |
 |    |     | 
 +----+-----+
 |    |     |
 |    |     |
 +----+-----+
     
How do I make only the outer borders thicker/bolder?  say with a
thickness of 1pt ?
