[Tuglist] Bug in detex ??

Hi,
 
	As has mentioned in this list earlier,
I am using detex to get a word count of the text 
part of TeX file.
Command detex <foo.tex> | wc -w

I find that this is not giving correct word count.

Help appreciated.
