Hello,

> dvips -Ppdf -G0 -o psfile dvifile ps2pdf psfile
pdfile following mathematical symbols $\Lambda$,
$\Psi$ and $\Sigma$ in it. When run through latex,
then dvips (with -Ppdf -G0 etc) and ps2pdf, the result
is a set of complaints about missing glyphs: dvips:
Warning: missing glyph `Psi'

With dvips -Ppdf foo.dvi -o foo.ps and ps2pdf foo.ps I
am not having any problems in getting the above
mentioned maths symbols in a pdf file. If you are
using this method to generate pdf files (instead of
pdflatex), it will be a very good idea to update your
tetex and ghostcript. I had serious problems initially
on such conversions. But once I updated the tetex (I
am using redhat 7.1; and I updated it using redhat's
up2date utility), I never faced any such silly
problems during this conversion.

With best regards,

Dileep
